Committee is pleased to offer a complimentary audio
seminar to our members, Coding for Excisional
and Non-excisional Debridements.
With the increasing audits of from
Medicare RAC program and other payers, it is important
that coders understand the differences of excisional
versus non-excisional debridement.
This seminar will define procedure
terms, outline strategies to improve clinical
documentation practices, identify relevant ICD-9-CM
procedure coding guidelines and Medicare RAC findings as
well as AHA Coding Clinic references to accurately
report excisional debridement and implement best coding
and compliance practices.
This broadcast offers two (2) AHIMA
approved continuing education credits.
