Strengthening Our Profession Together

Dear WVHIMA Members,

I am excited to begin my term as President of the West Virginia Health Information Management Association! This year, we embark on a journey to rejuvenate our association through a strong emphasis on community, professional growth, and volunteerism.

My vision for WVHIMA is to create a vibrant and supportive network for health information management professionals in West Virginia. We aim to provide opportunities for members to connect, learn, and grow in their careers. This will be achieved through a combination of virtual and in-person educational events, designed to address the evolving needs of our industry.

I am honored to introduce our new board members who will be instrumental in achieving our goals:

  • President: Ashley Simmons
  • President-Elect: Brenda Glaspell
  • Immediate Past President: Nelson Liston II
  • Vice President: Kalee Vincent
  • Secretary: Victoria Lincoln
  • Treasurer: Leslie Marcozzi
  • 3rd Year Director: Nancy Halbrook
  • 2nd Year Director: Brenda Glaspell
  • 1st Year Director: Tanna Lambert

We are committed to serving our members and making a positive impact on the healthcare community. We believe that by fostering a strong sense of community, we can empower our members to reach their full potential.
